Had the best weekend in south carolina this weekend.  Just what I needed after a long hard winter.  We had a wedding to go to so decided to make a weekend out of it.  The house we found was nestled in a perfect little spot on Palm Island.  I could get used to this…

Some of the highlits of our trip included eating and hanging out in King street, which is a popular street in Charleston lined with bars and restaurants.  We ate at Star the first night which was amazing.  These appetizers were so delicious and flavorful.

We also toured the town and walked around Market Street, which is an area lined with little set ups of locals selling various goods, like a flea market.  Some of our crew also stopped for some fresh oysters, which were amazing they said.  I personally do not eat oysters so I took their word for it.

The wedding took place on the pictureque grounds of Charles Town Landing which is also an historic site in downtown Charleston.  The weather was perfect and made for such a beatutiful setting.  check out the cocktail hour.
