Artichoke Dip

I make this dip a lot during the holidays and especially during Halloween but note that it’s just as delicious any time of the year!!! 🙂

What You Will Need:
1 10 oz Package of Frozen Spinach, thawed and dried
1 Jar of Artichokes, rinsed and chopped
8oz Mozzarella, shredded
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 8oz Pack of Cream Cheese, softened
2/3 Cup of Sour Cream
1/3 Cup Mayo
1 Round Loaf of Bread (I don’t have a particular kind I use but I just walk over to the fresh bread section of my supermarket and choose a round loaf that has a hard shell)
1 Bag of Pretzel Sticks, OPTIONAL (I don’t typically use the whole bag)
1 Box of Wheat Thins or other small Crackers, OPTIONAL (I don’t typically use the whole box)

Pre-Heat your oven to 350.

First your going to cut a round hole in the top of your loaf of bread, make it a little smaller than the entire circumference of the loaf.  Remove as much of the dough on the inside as you can and reserve it plus the top of the loaf for later use.  Set aside for a bit.

Then all your going to do is mix the rest of the ingredients, minus the pretzels,  together in a bowl and pour it into the bread bowl you made.  Pop it in the oven for about 30 mins until it’s nice and bubbly.

While that is going prepare your “stage”or “bed” for the dip.  This is where you are going to use the guts of the bread along with any crackers or pretzels.  The crackers and pretzels are especially good for Halloween but it looks good again for any occasion.

On a round large flat platter your gonna line it first with the leftover insides of the bread-break it up a bit so you really get good coverage with it, then on top of that your going to layer on the pretzel sticks and crackers, this gives it an outdoor spooky look for halloween. I normally make a round space, or well,  in the middle of the platter instead of laying the bread bowl on top.  So now you have this “bed” or “stage” that the bread bowl is going to lie on top of.

Once the dip is ready place it in the middle of your platter.  Serve and Enjoy!! xoxoxo
