Belated St. Patty’s Day!

I use this pretty easy recipe:

What You Will Need:

Dry Ingredients:

3 cups of flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup raisins
1 tbsp caraway seeds (I like to think of these as optional)

Wet Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
4 tbsp butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350
Mix all the dry ingredients together
Mix in the wet and form a ball
Grease a pan and dump the ball onto it-don’t forget to draw your “X” on the top to ward off evil

blog10Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown-inserted knife comes out
clean.  Let cool-slice-spread some butter-enjoy with some tea!

Serve and Enjoy!!
