Broccoli & Cheese Soup

I love broccoli and I love cheese so this just works for me.

What You Will Need:
1 Lb Broccoli Florets, Cooked
2 Cans Cream of Chicken
1 Onion, Chopped
1/2 Stick Butter
1/2 Tbsp Black Pepper
4 Cups of Water
3/4 Cup Fresh Chives, Chopped
1 Cup Whole Milk
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
2 Cups Sliced Carrots

Melt butter in dutch oven or large deep pot, add onions and 1/2 tbsp black pepper, cook until soft about 3-4 minutes.  Add both cans of cream of chicken and water, stir until all nice and mixed.  Add in broccoli and chives and bring to a simmer.  Cook covered on med low heat for 15 mins stirring occasionally.  Add in carrots, cook another 30 mins stirring occasionally.  Turn heat off stir in milk and cheese stirring for a couple of minutes until all incorporated and cheese has melted.

Serve and enjoy!!
