Pizza is the best and this version is no exception 🙂
What You Will Need:
1 Pkg Puff Pastry, Thawed (according to package instructions)
8 oz Bella Mushrooms, Sliced
4 Garlic Cloves, Chopped
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Masala Wine
1 Cup Mozzarella, Shredded
Corn Starch for dusting
Heat the oil in a sauté pan on medium heat, add garlic and cook until fragrant, 2 minutes or so. Add mushrooms and mix together with garlic and cook for another 2 minutes, then add in the wine and simmer for an additional 10 minutes or so, stirring occasionally until liquids have pretty much evaporated. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
Take a baking sheet and line it with foil. Dust some corn starch across the foil, this is so the pizza doesn’t stick to the foil. Roll out the pastry dough to desired shape, I just left it the shape it came in and just rolled it a bit thinner, I wouldn’t TRY and go round with it but if you are feeling a bit crazy then go for it 🙂
Mix mozzarella with cooled mushroom mixture and top pastry dough. Bake according to pastry instructions, mine said 400 for 20minutes but depending on the one you buy it may be different.
